- Step 3: The entrance exam will not be held this year, this year the admission in Uttar Pradesh DELED will be on the basis of merit.

Uttar Pradesh D.El.Ed (BTC) Admission 2026 FAQ
The online registration process for UP D.El.Ed (formerly known as BTC) officially commenced on 15 June 2026.
The UP D.El.Ed State Merit Rank list is scheduled to be published on 16 July 2026. Once released, candidates can log into the official portal to view State Rank, which show eligibility for the online counseling rounds.
There is no entrance examination or written syllabus for this admission process. Candidates are selected entirely on a merit-based system calculated from their collective academic scores in Class 10th, Class 12th, and Graduation.

The last date to complete online registration and submit the application form is 08 July 2026 (by 06:00 PM).
While registration closes on July 8th, candidates are permitted a small grace period to finalize transaction details. The absolute last date to pay the application fee online is 09 July 2026, followed by a final form re-print deadline of 11 July 2026.
